When putting together the Bridal Showers menu, it's okay to have a little fun with your menu choices. There’s nothing wrong with introducing a couple of new flavors to the traditional menu offerings. Or you can specifically cater the party to the favorite foods of your bride and groom. If the couple prefers junk food type items you can cater your whole party around that theme and it doesn’t mean you have to have cheese its and pizza rolls. Experiment a little with certain foods in new ways. You can make a delicious potato chip casserole for the shower. It's much like a regular potato casserole, except you layer the casserole with potato chips instead of potato slices. This also works for Nachos lovers. A cheesy Nacho bake will fit the bill and can look dressed up when cut into squares and served on festive plates at about room temperature. For desserts you can cater to those candy lover’s. A snickers bar brownie sounds really decadent, and by announcing on your invitations that this will be available in plenty, guests are sure to flock to the party. Simply make a regular brownie and mix in slices of snicker’s or another favored candy bar with the batter. Serve it fresh from the oven for steamy, melted chocolate goodness or let set out until it reaches room temperature for a nice presentation. Drinks like soda pop have long been used in punches and alcoholic offerings at parties, so it shouldn’t be too hard to come up with a viable and fun drink mix to offer to those fizzy drink lover’s. You can make an easy punch with a bottle of citrus flavored soda pop, about a cup or so of lemon juice, and about two cups of orange juice. If placing in a decorative punch bowl you can place scoops of sherbet ice cream to float on the surface of the punch. Mrs. Party...
