Choosing the perfect Wedding Dress is something that you will need to do your research on. There are so many choices that when you go into a shop they all just seem to blend into each other. Start by choosing a style you like, magazines are a good place to start, however bear in mind that they don't always look the same on as they do in the glossy photos! The internet is another good place to research as they will give you a larger choice and a good range to suit all budgets. Make sure you take someone with you who can help you choose the perfect dress as they see you from a different angle, if you have a sister or best friend they are good from a perspective of someone in your own age group, however taking your mother is a must, she will also be a great help, as she knows you the best and will hopefully encourage you to try on dresses that you may not have normally tried on! Take a pair of shoes with you that will be the same height that you will wear on your wedding day so that you can try them on with the dress to make sure that it is long enough, especially if you are tall. Tell the salesperson the style and fabric you are looking for, silk fabric is very light and drapes lovely giving a very luxurious finish and feel, where satin is very sleek, shiny and modern, giving a very elegant look. Organza is transparent with a texture like a delicate net, best used as an overlay or stole. Duppioni is typically described as raw silk, the threads are uneven and irregular and this is a very strong fabric. All these different types of fabric give a completely different look, so we would recommend that you try on at least two different types of fabric before deciding on your dream wedding dress. You'll instantly know when you've tried on the right dress for you as it will immediately make you feel beautiful and another way of telling is the look on the faces of the people with you! Always try on a few different styles in different shops as the first one may seem like the perfect dress, but remember you don't try on wedding dresses every day! On the hanger they look completely different, so be open minded when choosing styles to try on, you'll be surprised, there's definitely a perfect dress out there for everyone!
