How About a Western Theme for your Las Vegas Wedding?

By: Rebecca Johnson

If you were thinking about giving your Las Vegas wedding an Old West or Western theme, you will definitely want to take a closer look at Bonnie Springs Old Nevada. This replica of an 1880's Old West town is located about a half hour west of the Las Vegas Strip in the Red Rock Canyon area.

The town features an old fashioned western style chapel where wedding ceremonies can be performed. If you want something even more unusual, they can arrange for a horseback minister to marry you. The town which features actors performing mock gunfights and hangings, a miniature train, and many Old West styled buildings, will be opened and fully operational for groups of a hundred or more.

Wedding receptions are offered and include BBQ lunches or dinners. The menu includes ribs and chicken, baked beans, salad, corn on the cob, homemade biscuits, desserts and beverages. New York steaks are available for an additional cost. An open bar package with liquor, beer, and wine is also included.

Bonnie Springs Old Nevada also offers straw cowboy hats and bandanas that you can purchase for you wedding guests. These would make great wedding favors and would also help to carry through with your western wedding theme. A five piece country and western band is also available for an additional cost. They make it easy for you to plan the Western wedding of your dreams.

Having a wedding at Bonnie Springs Old Nevada would certainly be a unique and fun experience for you and your guests. How many people can say that they were married in the Old West?
