If there is one day in our life, our short time on this earth, that
eclipses all others in importance, it is your wedding day. The union
of two people in the bonds of holy matrimony is so basic to all
human existence that it can be found in every culture and every
nation in some form or another. People have fundamental needs to
love and be loved and it seems that our entire life is spent searching
for the happiness that comes from a happy marriage.

Do you get a second chance at your wedding day? Well, it wasn't
your intention when you got hitched but unfortunately things fall
apart and people forget what they initially saw in their spouse. That
is exactly why having a professional wedding video is so
important.

Sounds like a commercial? I don't think so. Marriage is no game and
the wedding is going to be an important element in the happy couple's
future. Weddings are so special that you need to hire a
professional to capture all the moments that you won't remember
five years from now, ten years from now, and so forth.

One, a truly professional videographer won't require much of
your attention and will be able to get you the video of your dreams
without you worrying about it. If you ask "uncle Joe" to run around
with his new Wal-Mart Sharp, he won't be able to participate in the
celebration and your relationship comes under stress because
your wedding video is important to you. Usually, "uncle Joe" will
be filming wild and crazy angles with poor lighting and poor audio
without editing that could actually make your video painful
to watch in later years.

Second, it's easier to pick a videographer that suits your
tastes than to make a friend or family member do what you want.
A pro knows many different techniques and has the tools to make
your video unique. Nobody wants a template video with their shots
plugged into a formula. A professional will give you something
elegant, creative, and personally catered to your tastes.

There is no good reason to not hire a videographer since pricing
and style is so varied and fair. Ask those who hired pros what they
thought. I've yet to hear someone complain that they were unhappy
with their video. The industry of wedding videography is still new
when compared to cakes, dresses, flowers, and photography, so many
don't consider the possibility of a video. I say you need one.

You won't be sorry. Trust the guy who has done his fair share of
them. You are really going to want that video on your silver
anniversary.
